Welcome to the online component for your faith formation! After each class, you will have a month to visit the Student Page to listen, watch, and read materials based on what you learned. These mini sessions are meant to build upon what you learned in class, and give you tools to continue to grow deeper in your faith.
In each section, you will find:
- LEARN MORE: This section summarizes what we learned and gives you additional information that builds upon what we learned, either through a video or an article.
- SAINT PROFILES: In this section, you will explore the lives of different saints and learn how they followed Christ through their words and actions. As you read each saint profile, consider the virtues they practiced, the challenges they faced, and what lessons their lives can teach us today. The goal is to discover role models of faith and reflect on how their example can inspire your own life.
- HOMEWORK: In this section you will find the homework that touches on the topics covered in class along with the information shared here. Please complete your homework assignments in the Google Form at the bottom of each section. If you have any trouble, have your parents email me at

- In class, we discussed Jesus: who He is, what He taught, and how He desires us to be happy with Him and His Father in Heaven. He asks us to follow Him and to listen to His teachings because He loves us and wants us to be truly happy.

SAINT PROFILES: Saints Peter and Paul
Why students relate to him: They both were real people who faced struggles, made mistakes, learned, and grew.
Saint Peter sometimes acted without thinking and even denied knowing Jesus when he was afraid. As a middle schooler, you may be able to relate to making mistakes, feeling embarrassed, and having chances to do better.
Peter was not always brave, but he grew into a strong leader. As a middle school student, you are learning who you are and becoming more confident.
Saint Paul went through a major transformation in his life. Middle school is also a time when people change, discover new interests, and figure out their values.
Both Peter and Paul dealt with rejection, pressure, and difficult situations. You may be able to relate here by thinking of challenges such as friendships, school stress, and standing up for what they believe.
Peter and Paul helped spread their message by working with others, showing that people can make a difference when they support each other.
Overall, Peter and Paul remind middle schoolers that they do not have to be perfect to grow and to have a positive impact on others.
