Homebound/Health Care Facility Ministers

And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’

The two main areas of this ministry include:
1 - Eucharistic Minister visitation
2- Parishioner Visitations

Eucharistic Ministers bring comfort and spiritual care by providing Holy Communion for our Homebound.  Ordinarily, Holy Communion is brought to our Sick or Homebound following either weekday or Sunday Mass.

Our weekly visits ensure a continued connection with our parish family, as we offer prayer and Holy Communion, along with compassionate support to our Sick, Elderly and Homebound.

Individuals are needed to bring the Eucharist to the homebound and local health/skilled care facilities.

Training sessions are held periodically for those wishing to join this ministry.

Parish Visitations seeks parishioners willing to visit individual homes or care facilities of those unable to come to the parish. This may include general conversation with a compassionate ear, recitation of the rosary or other prayer opportunites.

If you are interested in serving in this ministry, or if you have a family member or know of a parish member who is unable to attend Mass and would like to receive Holy Communion or a visit, please contact the person mentioned on this page.
