Our junior high youth ministry offers mini retreats for our 7th and 8th graders. These retreats, known as “Lock-ins”, are held in the parish center and provide an opportunity for the young people to encounter Jesus personally through worship and fellowship with their peers.
The lock-ins are run by a team of high school teens from our youth group along with a core group of adults under the direction of our director of junior high youth ministry.
Activities during Lock-ins include ice breaker games, talks given by the high school teens, small group discussions, opportunities for prayer and ending with midnight Mass, which parents are invited to attend.
