ph tripsThroughout the year we offer various trips and events for the high school teenagers. Please join us for one or all of them!

ANTIOCH RETREAT
Open to all high school teens, however, we ask the freshmen in the Confirmation program to attend their Journey Retreat before attending an Antioch Retreat.

This is a great way to get to know other members of the youth group and continue to grow in your faith. You can attend as many Antioch retreats as you like during your high school career.

December 2023 Antioch Registration

CATHOLIC YOUTH DAY AT GREAT ADVENTURE
Each you on the third Sunday in May, all the Catholic youth groups in the State of New Jersey hold a Catholic Youth Day at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson. Registration for this event will open in March and all high school aged teens are welcome to join us.

LEADERSHIP TRAINING
Leadership training is for those teens who have been confirmed and would like to be a team member for the Confirmation Journey Retreats. This full day training is held twice during the summer. Registration opens in April for the next year’s retreats. Due to the popularity of this event and the limited space, registrations are handed out in April at youth group’s Open Center.

CATHOLIC COLLEGE NIGHT - MONDAY, MAY 15TH 6-8PM
Each year, representatives from Catholic colleges and universities from around the country gather in the parish center to meet with families of high school students interested in knowing more about what their school offers. Held each spring, this college fair is geared toward sophomores and juniors who are just starting their college search. This event is open to the general public. ALL ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND.

SUMMER MISSION TRIP
Spend a week at the Kearny Retreat Center performing service at five different locations. Sites may include the Fr. English Food Pantry, St. Anne’s Soup Kitchen, Catholic Charities, and various parishes or inner-city school in need of assistance. Space is limited to fifteen high school aged teens. Registration opens in March for this program.

NATIONAL CATHOLIC YOUTH CONFERNECE (NCYC)
Held every two years (in the odd numbered year,) This national gathering of Catholic youth groups from around the country, giving young people a taste of the larger Catholic Church. Opportunities to hear nationally recognized speakers, attend workshops on various topics and participate in prayer and worshiping experiences are all part of this three day event. Open to all high school aged teens.
