“Go therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.”
Matthew 28:19
Jesus was baptized and taught his Apostles to do likewise. Through Baptism we are freed from original sin and reborn as sons and daughters of God. We become members of the Body of Christ as we are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission.
The Sacrament of Baptism is a time of great joy for our parish community!
Communal Baptisms (the celebration of the Sacrament with other families) are held the first Sunday of the month and on the third Saturday (holidays excluded).
In preparation for your child to be baptized, an instruction (called “catechesis”) is given to all parents. Godparents are invited to take advantage of this opportunity as well.
Please register a month or two in advance for the Baptismal Program.
