“Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God”

The Liturgy of the Word for Children takes place during the 9:30 AM Mass on Most Sundays throughout the school year and is geared to children ages three to ten.
After the Opening Prayers, the children are called up to the Altar by the priest and the children, along with their leader, go to the daily mass chapel to listen to the readings and the Gospel from the Children’s Lectionary.
The leader then breaks open the Readings with the children in a way that they can understand.
The children return back to their families at the time of the offertory.
Parents are always welcome to join their children in the chapel if you choose.
