Women's Cornerstone is a community of faith filled women who desire a nurturing and spiritual environment to grow in their relationship with God. This ministry explores many ways to pray, build faith and more deeply develop a loving relationship with Our Lord and each other. Women’s Cornerstone began over 20 years ago and has welcomed more than 400 women.
The journey begins with a retreat in the parish center, which has been described as a “spa for the soul”. On the retreat, women hear inspirational faith stories, pray, socialize and be in community with other women seeking to grow in their relationship with God. The retreat is a unique time to view your spirituality in a new way and is, for many, the beginning of a new faith journey.
The community offers many opportunities to grow together in our faith on an ongoing basis. There is an annual Communion breakfast, evenings of prayer, dedicated speakers who address meaningful topics. Special interest groups include a Spiritual Book Group, weekly online Rosary, and weekly zoom prayer sharing. This vibrant community prays for each others' intentions through an on-line prayer chain.
All women of the parish who have not yet done so, are invited to take the first step and attend a Cornerstone retreat.
