St. Frances Xavier Cabrini:

Died:  December 22, 1917
Canonization Date: 1946
Feast Day:  November 13
Patron Saint: Hospital administrators/Immigrants/ Impossible causes

Frances Xavier Cabrini was the first United States citizen to be canonized; she became a U.S. citizen in 1909. Her deep trust in the loving care of her God gave her the strength to be a valiant woman doing the work of Christ.

At her canonization on July 7, 1946, Pope Pius XII said, "Although her constitution was very frail, her spirit was endowed with such singular strength that, knowing the will of God in her regard, she permitted nothing to impede her from accomplishing what seemed beyond the strength of a woman."

St. John Vianney: 
st john vianneyBorn:  May 8, 1786
Died:  August 4, 1859
Canonization Date: 1925
Feast Day:  August 4
Patron Saint Of: Parish priests and Priests

He was a champion of the poor as a Third Order Franciscan and a recipient of the coveted French Legion of Honor. Vianney’s remarkable sanctity and commitment to his small rural parish in France drew over 100,000 pilgrims each year. People journeyed from all over Europe to attend his Masses or sit in his confessional where he spent up to 16 hours a day hearing penitents.
