Our four options for grades 1st-6th are...

Traditional Weekly Religious Education (School Model):
Classes are offered
Sundays from 10:45AM-12:15PM
Tuesdays from 4:00pm-5:30PM
or Wednesdays from 4:00PM-5:30PM

School Model classes meet once a week.  There is time for a group prayer and activity in the beginning followed by instructional time in the classroom with a trained catechist.  For more information please see the program descriptions.

Home Group Classes
Home Groups are established by same grade families and meet once a week.  There is a five person minimum for each Home Group.  There is a Lead Catechist who works closely with the Religious Education Office to fulfill ensure the Home Group fulfills all requirements and meets for 35 hours.  One parent from each family is required to participate in the Home Group and take Protecting God's Children.  If you are interested in establishing a Home Group, please contact Melissa Peters for the interest form.  For more information please see the program descriptions.

When Families Gather (WFG)
This program is a family option and has two components.  At home each month, the parents teach 3 chapters from the textbook and students complete online homework.  In addition, the families come together once a month on a Monday evening or Sunday morning for 90 minutes in a Large Group setting.  At the Large Group setting there is time for food, prayer, teaching, and family activities.  Registration closes on a set date in April for the following school year.  For more information please see the program descriptions.

Summer Program

This year (2017-2018) the summer program dates/times are slightly different than other years so please see the program description that is attached below for full details.  Usually, The Summer Program is a full religious education program which includes school year sessions. The Summer Program runs for 9 days in the summer (late June-early July) from 2:00-5:30PM and three 90 minute family retreat days during the school year.  Each daily session includes instructional lessons, art, music, and prayer.   Registration for this program is done in person at a specific time.  You must attend that registration meeting in order to get your child in this program.

For more information please see the program descriptions.

Important Note:  For all of our programs, the previous grade's work must be completed in order to move onto the next desired grade.  The method in which the work is completed will be determined by the Director of Religious Education.  This includes moving on from 6th grade to the 7th, 8th, and 9th grade (Confirmation) programs.
